David grew up in the small town of Pella, Iowa dreaming of playing college basketball.  He spent countless hours outside in the driveway ‘forcing’ his mom to rebound for him in the middle of winter, the humid Iowa summers, and anything type of weather in between.  David made it his mission and his goal to play college basketball and didn’t see any challenge as too big to overcome. (Even coming from small town Iowa)  David achieved his goal, went on to play professionally, coach over 100 NBA players, run camps in over 30 countries worldwide, and become one of the highest sought after shooting coaches on the globe.  All because he had a dream and determination.

NBA – Skills Development/Shooting Coach – Brooklyn Nets 2015-2016

• Started with Nets on Feb 1st. (From opening night to Jan. 31, the Nets shot 32.6% from beyond the arc – the 3rd lowest percentage in the NBA)
• 1 – March 28 – the Nets led the NBA in 3-point shooting (40.7%) (the last game Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young played together before team shut them down for the season)
